Jamie is an experienced physiotherapist having graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007.
He has been lucky enough to have worked with some amazing physiotherapists in the UK. He has worked as an orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS, British Army, Scottish Rugby Union, Scottish Athletics and a British Ice hockey team as well as Port Alberni’s own Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
He has completed many post-graduate courses including Orthopaedic Medicine, Kinetic Control, Podiatry, Explain Pain, Acupuncture, Trigger-point Dry Needling, Myofascial Release and many others.
In 2015 Jamie started a new life on Vancouver Island. He loves exploring the Island and has taken up new hobbies such as skiing. He enjoys an active lifestyle and promotes health and wellbeing for his patients.
As well as the post-graduate courses that have shaped Jamie’s career, he also draws upon his many sporting influences and passions such as running, Taekwon-do, Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting. He is committed to professional development and staying up to date with the latest research which he applies with consideration for all his clients.
